It all went horribly wrong. The first half was promising. Rich put us ahead with a neat finish after a great throughball from Millerdona and David nearly made it two with a mazy run the length of the pitch before shooting just wide. Alas a woeful Gudjackson error let the Socials back in just before half time. The 2nd half was all down hill. We went 1-2 down very quickly which became 1-5 before you could blink. Very disappointing  but hey worse things happen at sea!! Onwards and upwards guys!

Gudjackson's MoM nomination: Davids - he ran hard without stopping on a hot day, tackled well, nearly scored the goal of the season already and never gave up.

Iron Boot: The Ball for taking out Andy (an injured spectator) standing right by the goal. Mysteriously this round object (just by chance) was hit in his direction right at his injured foot leaving our legendary Boots defender in agony on the floor.  

Soft Slipper: Gudjackson - firstly for the soft goal that let the Socials back in and secondly for being a grumpy old sod and forgetting the Boots ethic of playing footy for a laugh. Sorry guys.
