Boots 2 Inter 5
This match could have been so different, while it did represent a normal boots result, the score dosent tell the whole story! We played well and went 2 up via Mark we were looking good, limiting Inter to about 2 shots in the first half. We also played like a team and it seemed to pay dividends. However they pulled one back just before half time but we looked like adding to our score with Dan almost putting in a bicycle kick and yours truely missing a glorious chance from a free header.
The second hafl while still playing well we got carved apart at the back a few times and every thing inter touched seemed to go into the back of our net, surprisingly our defending wasnt even that bad bar a couple of lapses of concentration. to be honest I'd say that a fair bit of skill, from inter was what really sunk us. Even so we can learn our lessons and try and get some more points in the bag for the last push of the season.
Skill boot: Dan for the bicycle kick?
Iron boot: hmm.... shall it be for Ian for taking out another keeper or Christian for some ahem "no-nonsence defending" Dan gets a shout for being the most blatenly fouled player and losing about 80% of the skin of his legs.
