Our first win of the season and our first ever match against this opposition. So I suppose for the moment they are our bitches.........A good game for the Boots that we dominated throughout so much so that Team Bath Staff didn't have a meaningful effort on goal for Gudjackson to cock up. We should have won by a hatful and then some but to para phase the legendary Ian Holloway we wouldn't have scored in a brothel with £2000 quid in our pockets. The goal that divided the teams didn't come from a boot or head or even belly but the arse of Phil Marlon Harewood. The new young buck Boot scored his second Boots goal after a great cross from Wolfgang set him up. A good first effort was stopped by the very impressive Team Bath keeper but Marlon followed up only charge down the keeper's clearance into the net. Their keeper proceded to make a series of excellent saves to keep out Marlon and a very impressive Ian Willoxhelmson. The story of the first half was the story of the second but without the goal. More misses and more saves. As the game went on Team Bath Staff sensed they still had chance to get something from the game and pressed forward with more urgency. The Boots defence held firm though and Wes in particular defended with vigour and composure ably aided by David, Wolfgang, Seva and Stu.
