Boots 0 Chemistry 1
A good contest in the end. Chemistry looked a very well organised team with a few players capable of running with the ball and causing problems. It was all Chemistry for large periods of the 1st half and the writing looked to be on the wall when an early effort from Steve Reade whistled through a crowded penalty area into the far corner of the net with Gudjackson unsighted. But the Boots dug in with some gritty defence and good tracking back to stay in the match. The 2nd half was a well matched affair with few clear cut chances. The post was struck at either end (one due to a typical Gudjackson fumble.....although technically this should count as a save), Wesley Taribo Snipes being particular unlucky when it looked like he'd pulled off the perfect finish. So a defeat, but a good battling competitive performance.

Iron Boot: Ian W.......a well placed knee in Steve R's nether region......oh Mrs!
Skill Boot: Ian E.....fantastic intercept tracking back when a goal seemed certain.
Soft Slipper: Gudjackson........"It hurts when I kick the ball".....poor dear
